2013 cohort apprentices achieve their modern apprenitceship certificate

Border Engineering Training Association is pleased to announce that we have had another sucessfull year with a 100% success rate with all eleven apprentices who started back in August 2013 achieving their SVQ level 3 in their discipline specific area and their Modern Apprenticeship certificate from SEMTA.

All eleven apprentices followed an approved training course which consisted of "off the job" training where they gained their EAL SVQ level 2 in Performing Engineering Operations and their SQA certificates at National Certificate and Higher National Certificate level with some apprentices opting to continue with their education up to HND and/or degree. As the VQs are competence based each apprentice took a different length of time to be deemed competent thus, each apprentice completed their apprenticeship at a slightly different times. Below are some of the apprentices who received their Modern Apprenticeship certificates this year.
