S.D.S 2016 Compliance Audit

Friday 14th October 2016 Skills Development Scotland carried out a compliance audit on BETA's systems at their offices at New stown St. Boswells; Bank House, for the Modern Apprenitceship programme they manage, assess and deliver.

Mr. Martin Simpson the auditor from SDS sampled 40% of BETA's apprentice files which covered new starts, apprentices at various stages of their training and apprentices who had successfully completed their training and had now gained their Modern Apprenticeship certificate from SEMTA, the Sector Skills Council for Science Engineering, Manufactiuring Technology.

Mr. Sipmson reported that he would be recommending that BETA remain recognised as a look risk provider with regrad to complaince. This is great news and boosts the confidence of both BETA staff and its members/apprentices as BETA is maintaining its great record with regard to its MA programme. With such a high percentage sample taken and still remaining a low risk it demonstrates BETA is doing something correct. Well done to all
