Non-Ferrous Metals
Non ferrous metals are those metals and alloys that do not contain iron. Aluminium, copper, tin, lead
and zinc
are a few examples of non ferrous metals. Each metal has its own property and uses, and although
copper is
used for electric wires and water pipes, in general, non ferrous metals are mixed together to form alloys. Many
non ferrous metals and alloys are corrosion resistant.
